Danish studio Norm Architects has taken strong design influences from both Scandinavian and Japanese design to create a beautifully minimal workspace for Kinfolk magazine in Copenhagen. The warm almost home-like interior is pretty much the ultimate dream workspace.

“Much like human wellbeing, the essence of our work is found in balance - between richness and restraint, between order and complexity,” said norm architects. “Our vision is to look beyond sight. We want to create spaces that feel good in every way.”

“While the gallery and office areas are spacious and connected into one open-space plan, the back rooms are more classic Copenhagen style with small rooms and wooden moulding and millwork,” explained the architects.”

Simplicity reigns supreme at the Kinfolk magazine workspaces in Copenhagen.

The open-plan workspace is divided into three zones and has walls covered in sandy-toned plaster that give them a earthy 'wabi-sabi' quality.
