In Focus | No. 197 Chiswick Fire Station, London

A heritage fire station on Chiswick High Road has been beautifully transformed by architects Darwin & Wallace from an old neglected fire station into a contemporary and edgy restaurant and bar. Standout features in the interior include plush armchairs, terracotta tiles, gold pendant lighting and giant verdant cacti - all offset against the whitewashed floors and pastel pink walls, and we just can't get enough!

The entry presents a powerful contrast to the original façade, with the original fire station red brickwork and lettering still intact.
