Set on a leafy street in Melbourne’s Albert Park, Robson Rak have transformed what was once a former weatherboard cottage and dairy stables into a modern and airy architectural home. The home is comprised of three distinct styles which connect the history of the home; the former weatherboard cottage, stables and new glass extension.

The renovations include opening up the space and creating a functional layout for the spaces. Externally the home has remained sympathetic to its heritage roots, with the inclusion of its original gabled roof and original brick work. The interior colour palette is neutral and restrained - a perfect backdrop for the homeowners who are avid art collectors and enjoy displaying their growing art collection. Full-height window and skylights bring the outdoors in - a connection to the exterior world for the owners.

Robson Rak have created an interior which was designed to stand the test of time and be enjoyed for many years to come.

Natural stone floors, blonde timber joinery and a neutral, modern palette reign supreme.
