City Guide | As Soon As We Can Travel

As soon as we can travel, these are the hotel destinations which will be first on our getaway list.

Hotel Le Sud

Hôtel Le Sud, in Antibes on the French Riviera, was designed by Stéphanie Lizée, whose take on French coastal style includes plastered walls, sandstone, terracotta, recessed arched shelves, wicker, and lots and lots of stripes. We couldn’t love this travel destination more.

Palm Heights

The Palm Heights in Grand Cayman boasts an all-female design team — founder and creative director Gabriella Khalil and designers Sarita Posada and Courtney Applebaum. The hotel, which includes 52 ocean view suites, is a serious treasure trove, from an Ettore Sottsass rug in the hotel lobby, to sofas by Mario Bellini and lounge chairs by Pierre Paulin in the suites. We’re totally ready to move in!

Marram Montauk

The Marram Montauk, a cedar-clad building overlooking the Atlantic designed by Studio Tack, has rooms featuring fiber-strung pendant lights, Noguchi light sculptures, naturally dyed jute rugs, and paintings on vintage canvases by Sean W. Spellman. The 96 room hotel is the only oceanfront, barefoot luxury boutique resort in the heart of Montauk. Need we say more?

Il Palazzo Experimental

The Il Palazzo Experimental in Venice was designed by the ever-inspiring Dorothee Meilichzon. The interior? One of the dreamiest you will find — think arched doorways, a colour and pattern palette to die for and cone-topped finials in a renaissance-era palace. A must visit destination, as soon as we are able.

Tuba Hotel

In Marseille is the Tuba Hotel, designed by architect Marion Mailaender. The interior features seagrass floors, Corbu-inspired plywood headboards, upcycled ceramics, coat racks created by the artist Elvire Bonduelle, and a seriously knockout view to complete the idyllic picture.
