Located on the corner of George and Powlett streets within the prestigious East Melbourne neighbourhood, Powell & Glenn has designed residences which make a quiet, yet theatrical statement to the streetscape. Brought to life by leading property developer ICON Developments, the architects have designed the interior to make the most of and play with light, creating spaces which are bright and spacious.
Carefully considered, the contemporary design focuses on bringing the outside in, “Nestled amongst East Melbourne’s wide streets, rows of stately homes and acres of parkland, George + Powlett is a flagship project for ICON as we sought to redefine luxury apartment living in an unbeatable location,” says Cameron Shekleton, ICON’s development manager.
Stand-out features include beautifully crafted and bright living spaces, and luxurious finishes and floorpans to suit changing lifestyle needs. The apartments also incorporate three-metre high ceilings, full-height doors and glass facades to fill each home with an abundance of natural northern light, and a clean and considered minimal colour palette throughout, which includes natural materials such as raw timber, stone and marble.
